Additional Notes for Brides
The first consultation is free, with no time limits. I am happy to do a home visit or you can come to my office. At Bijoux we appreciate that this is the most important day in your life and therefore we want to make sure we help make it special! So why not come along and have coffee and a chat about what you want!
Useful Information for your consultation:
1. It is important that you have an idea on the style of dresses and colour schemes before your consultation takes place. It is then much easier for me to advise you as to the style and colour scheme of your flowers which must compliment your dresses.
2. It is always useful to receive a picture and a swatch of the material so that we can match colours as accurately as possible.
3. A useful way to capture ideas is the use of a pin board. Pinterest is an online pin board which allows you to organise and share the things you love http://pinterest.com
4. If you require table arrangements, the shape and number of tables, also table sizes, (especially the top table) will be discussed at the consultation in order to produce the most suitable designs.
5. Subsequent consultations, paperwork changes and revised estimates associated with major design changes will be charged at £15 per hour with this amount added to the final balance.
Deposits and payment
A £50 non-refundable ‘Holding Fee’ is required to hold the date. This is to be paid on agreement of the estimate. The fee will be deducted from the final balance and will guarantee exclusivity for the Wedding day.
It is the client’s responsibility to inform Bijoux of any changes at least 4 weeks prior to the event. This includes additional items and colour changes.
The balance will be requested one month prior to the Wedding day. Full and final payment is required within 10 days of this date.All monies are non-refundable after the balance request date as flowers are ordered in good faith at this point.
All vases supplied with floral designs remain the property of Bijoux unless arranged to be purchased by the Bride at the initial consultation. All vases must be returned or collected by arrangement within 48 hours of the Wedding (excluding Bank Holidays). All vases remain the responsibility of the Bride during the ‘hire’ period and the full value will be incurred for any breakages or loss.
Flowers will be delivered at a time and venue agreed by the bride at the time of booking.
